Families starting mid-year
That is common and completely workable. We begin with a conversation about where your child actually is, then set a plan from that point — not from a calendar month.
Families who began with a course or a camp
Many families start with an online after-school course, then a camp, then the full support model. Nothing has to be decided all at once.

A structured-yet-flexible curriculum
The Gurukulam's own threads — Samskritam and shastra, sciences and mathematics, life skills — laid out as a year you can follow at your child's pace, not a syllabus that owns your calendar.
Mentorship
Regular check-ins with an Acharya — for the child's progress, and for the parent's questions about pace, gaps, and what to do when a subject stalls.
Curated resources
Texts, recitation audio, story sources, project ideas and observation tasks — chosen by the people who teach them daily, so you aren't sifting the internet alone.
Community
A WhatsApp circle of homeschooling families, plus invitations to campus — camps, festival days and immersion visits, where children find their own kind.

Homeschooled, and fully eligible.
The Ashram is not board-affiliated by design — that freedom is what makes twenty-plus subjects possible. Homeschooling families are guided onto NIOS, the National Institute of Open Schooling, with flexible subjects and full eligibility for higher education and competitive exams. Children who study Samskritam seriously can also sit traditional examinations such as the Chittoor Pariksha.
